Adventures in Cooking was established by Arlene Ward in 1976. Originally a cooking school, we've expanded into a kitchen resource with quality cooking equipment, essential supplies and those pesky hard to find items for culinary professionals, gourmets, and cooking enthusiasts throughout our region.

In 1990, we relocated to our current facility in Wayne NJ, a building that started out as a carriage stop in the 1800's.

It served then as a gathering place for people traveling the Morris canal system and today, we offer you the same warm welcome and invite you to come to see our shop and to attend classes.

A Little about Arlene
Arlene is a member of The International Association of Cooking Professionals and the New York Association of Cooking Teachers and has been a food stylist for many professional photographers and food companies before opening Adventures in Cooking as a professional quality retail store and cooking school.
